Pelican’s second release in the Coastal Collaboration series makes its way south on HWY 101 to their friends at Beachcrest Brewing to bring you an oversized fresh take on the Cold IPA. Like a crisp ocean wave, this beer is refreshing and clean with flavor crests of melon and ripples of tropical pineapple and red berries. Pelican R&D Brewer Scott Mohr and Beachcrest Brewer Matt White set out on a mission to create the perfect beer for sipping on the Siletz Bay and found their muse in a Triple Cold IPA. The blend of Huell Melon, Idaho Gem, and Nelson Sauvin hops gives this Triple Cold IPA an aroma reminiscent of gooseberry and white grape, supported by a refined malt profile. This brilliant straw-colored beer has an assertive bitterness that finishes balanced and clean, a perfect accompaniment for a relaxing spring evening. 100% of proceeds of this beer go directly to Siletz Bay Music Festival, a non-profit agency specializing in creating accessibility to music in Lincoln County.
