Salty’s is coming together with Pelican Brewing Company to provide a special menu and local brews to pair in this exciting event hosted at Salty’s on Redondo Beach on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Come by and have a taste of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Engineered by Redondo Chef Joshua Green and Bar Manager Jared Rost, this special menu is developed off of the flavor profiles provided by four beers carefully selected from local brewery Pelican Brewing Company, born at the beach in Pacific City, Oregon.
One brew we host in particular, the Five Fin, is named for the five ocean-going species of fish that benefit from the Salmon SuperHwy Project, an effort developed to reconnect ocean-going fish species with their spawning habitat. This brew is a uniquely “West Coast” take on the classic Pilsner. Experience hop flavors of tangerine, pineapple and lemon zest with classic spicy, floral zings, all balanced by a malty backbone. Pelican Brewing Company donates a portion of the proceeds of every barrel of Five Fin sold to this worthy cause.
