Enjoy a cocktail style event featuring a guided flight of our barrel-aged series including Queen of Hearts, Father of all Tsunamis, Captain of the Coast and our new 2017 release of Mother of all Storms–all paired with tasty, passed appetizers. Darron Welch, Pelican’s Brewmaster, will walk you through the flight and talk about how our Pelican beers pair well with food!

Queen of Hearts – Saison aged in Old Tom Gin barrels
Pairing: Poached shrimp and crab, served atop tortilla crisp, with lemon-coriander aioli, and citrus cilantro marinated “slaw” of carrots, jicama, and cabbage
Captain of The Coast – Wee heavy aged in Dry Fly Whiskey barrels
Pairing: Open faced smoked BLT. House brined and smoked salmon, house smoked Portobello mushroom “Bacon”, roasted tomato jam, caramelized shallot crème fraiche, butter lettuce
Father of All Tsunamis – Imperial stout aged in rye whiskey barrels
Pairing: House cocoa nib and coffee braised smoked tri-tip and smoked gouda croquettes, with charred pineapple-poblano gastrique
Mother of All Storms – English-style barleywine aged in bourbon barrels
Pairing: Grilled lamb rack medallion with soy molasses glaze, sweet potato hashbrown, and charred pearl onion petals
