CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19 – ACTIONS WE ARE TAKING

 

UPDATE: 3/11/22

In accordance with Oregon state mandate, beginning Saturday March 12th  we will no longer require face coverings for our guests and team members. We continue to maintain a rigorous schedule of sanitation to ensure everyone’s safety.

UPDATE: 8/13/21

In accordance with Oregon’s state mask mandate will be requiring guests to wear face masks in all public areas when not seated at a table starting Friday, August 13th 2021, at all our Pelican Brewing Locations.

We are excited to welcome you to the coast and create an extraordinary experience for you this summer. We ask that you please join us in practicing patience and kindness with our staff during these busy days. Your business and kindness mean everything to us, and we love sharing our beaches and coastal communities with each of you.

Hello Pelican Friends,

Based upon the most recent information provided by the Oregon Health Authority, we will continue to ask all our guests to wear face masks and continue practicing social distancing while visiting us at our coastal brewpubs. We thank you for your understanding as we continue to put the safety of our guests, team members, and the community at the forefront of our decision-making. UPDATE: 2/12/2021

Hello Pelican Friends,

Starting February 12th, all three of our locations – Pacific City, Tillamook, and Cannon Beach will be OPEN for Curbside Pickup, Takeout, Limited Indoor Seated Dining, and Weather Dependent Patio Dining. Our hours have also been updated, check out each of our location pages for the most up to date hours and offerings.

UPDATE: 1/29/2021

Hello Pelican Friends,

Starting January 29th, our Pacific City and Tillamook location are open for limited Indoor Seated Dining.  All three of our locations remain open for Curbside Pickup, Takeout and Limited, Weather Dependent Patio Dining.

  • For Pacific City, visit us from Sunday-Thursday: 10:30 am – 10:00 pm; Friday & Saturday: 10:30 am – 11:00 pm  12:00 pm – 8:00 pm for Curbside Pickup, Takeout, Limited Indoor and Outdoor Patio Seating.
  • For Tillamook, visit us from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm for Curbside Pickup, Takeout, Limited Indoor and Outdoor Patio Seating on Fridays-Sundays.
  • For Cannon Beach, visit us from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm for Curbside Pickup, Takeout, Limited  Outdoor Patio Seating from 12:00 – 6:00 pm.

With limited seated dining, we apologize greatly for any longer wait times.

Hello Pelican Friends,

Starting January 15th, all three of our Pelican Brewing Company locations – Pacific City, Tillamook, and Cannon Beach are OPEN daily from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm for Curbside Pickup, Takeout and Limited, Weather Dependent Patio Dining.

  • For Pacific City – Limited, Weather Dependent Patio Dining is available from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm with heaters and covered seating.
  • For Tillamook – Limited, Weather Dependent Patio Dining is available from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Fridays – Sundays with heaters and covered seating
  • For Cannon Beach – Limited, Weather Dependent Patio Dining available from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm with heaters and partially covered seating

With limited seated dining, we apologize greatly for any longer wait times.

As we continue our commitment to ensuring the safety of our guests, employees, and community, we have made additional updates to our services at this time: Starting tomorrow, December 10th, we will be offering Seated Indoor Dining, Takeout, and Curbside at all three of our Pelican Brewing locations – Pacific City, Tillamook, and Cannon Beach.

Before you arrive, please review the updated requirements our teams have implemented for everyone’s safety:

  • We ask our guests to join us in wearing face coverings and observing physical distancing in all public areas indoors and outdoors during your visit.
  • Our Seated Indoor Dining capacity will be limited to 25% and we will only seat parties of up to six at this time.
  • Our daily hours of operation have been updated to 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm at all three of our locations.

Hello Pelican Friends,

 

The safety of our guests, employees, and community is still our utmost priority. Starting tomorrow, December 3rd, in compliance with state government guidelines, we will be offering Indoor and Outdoor Seated Dining, Takeout, and Curbside Pickup at our three Pelican Brewing locations – Pacific City, Tillamook, and Cannon Beach.

Before you arrive, please review the requirements, here set forth by Governor Kate Brown.

  • We ask our guests to join us in wearing face coverings and observing physical distancing in all public areas indoors and outdoors during your visit.
  • Indoor dining allowed. Indoor capacity: not to exceed 50% maximum occupancy or 100 people, whichever is smaller. Indoor seating: 6 people per table maximum.
  • Outdoor dining allowed. Outdoor capacity: 150 people maximum. Outdoor seating: 8 people per table maximum.
  • Our hours have been updated to Sunday-Thursday – 10:30 am-10:00 pm and Friday and Saturday – 10:30 am-11:00 pm.

UPDATE: 8/21/2020

Hello Fanatics! Before visiting your beloved coastal towns please take note of the following items before your fly over:

  • Each county and city has different public health orders. Be informed and follow them — they may be different than where you live.
  • Face coverings are required statewide indoors and outdoors when physical distance can’t be maintained. Be prepared to wear a face covering and dispose of them properly.
  • Trash has become a problem. Pack out everything you bring, including food containers, gloves and face coverings.
    Park operations are reduced and closures can happen unexpectedly.
  • Facilities such as restrooms may be limited. When nature calls, have a plan, even if that means packing out your waste and tissue — the same goes for your dog, too.
  • Cars that block emergency access or driveways can be towed. Park your car in designated areas only, and have a backup plan if the parking lot is full.
  • Leaving designated trails threatens ecosystems. Stay on trails and don’t create new ones.
  • Coastal businesses are small. Your patience and manners are needed as they work hard to keep you and their employees safe.The Oregon Coast is one of a kind. Please explore responsibly, so this special place can be enjoyed for generations to come.

UPDATE: 5/22/20

Hello Pelican Friends,

As we work to responsibly reopen our beloved coastal brewpubs, please know we are actively implementing the COVID-19 Phase 1 guidelines outlined by the governor’s office to ensure the continued safety of our guests, employees, and community. Here are the new procedures and precautions we are taking to ensure the coast is safe and will continue to remain open:

  • All staff will be wearing masks while working. We ask that all our brewpub guests also wear masks within our restaurants. While eating, guests will be allowed to remove their masks. We will happily provide a professionally sanitized mask for use while in our brewpub.
  • Restaurant capacity will be limited, and seating between parties will be appropriately spaced to ensure physical distancing.
  • Contactless payment – please use your credit card for payment when possible.
  • Single-use menus for each guest
  • No congregation in brewpub lobbies.
  • Physical distancing indicators throughout the brewpubs for appropriate distancing.
  • Increased sanitation between guests and high contact areas.
  • Introduction of Wellness Ambassadors to aid in the implementation of proper health and safety guidelines.
  • All staff will have wellness checks before the beginning of their shift and will immediately wash hands once completed wellness check.
  • Designated Curbside, Takeout, and Seated Dining areas for separation of guests.
  • Removal of all bar seating at brewpubs.
  • Designated entry and exit doors for one-way traffic.
  • Limiting restroom occupancy to one guest at a time.

The health, well-being and safety of employees and guests of Pelican Brewing Company are our highest priorities.  Although there have been no confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the communities we serve, we would like to assure you that our team is committed to maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness including sanitation and disinfection.

Pelican Brewing restaurants have always exceeded Oregon Department of Health standards, of which we are proud.  We are committed to employee awareness and training and our restaurant and culinary staff are receiving regular communication focused on best practices for cleanliness and sanitation.  There is also a heightened vigilance for frequent attention to all areas of guest contact, including ongoing sanitization of host stands, bars, tables, booths, server alleys, doors and all other frequently used surfaces.
