Two hours from farm to brewhouse, now that's fresh, one might even say super fresh! This Elemental Ale is our beloved fresh hop offering only brewed once a year during hop harvest season - made exclusively with fresh hops. It features a lean and clean malt bill of just one malt so all the fresh hop character can take center stage. This year, 500lbs of Cascade hops were harvested from Goschie Farms, to feature fresh floral hop character with hints of grapefruit zest. Available for a very limited time, and best enjoyed fresh, so come and grab some and get in your Element!

We are ready for the 24th annual Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic.

The party is just getting started. Come by tonight for live music from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Then get ready to check out all the surf action with surfboard shaping demonstrations on Saturday. Surf heats run Saturday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and continue into Sunday for the finals.

Hang out and hang ten in Pacific City this weekend at the 24th Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic surf contest, September 15th - 17th. Presented by @momentsurfco and Pelican Brewing.

Enjoy the contest, live music, the live Silent Auction and live surfboard shaping demonstrations while sipping some of the best brews in the Northwest. The beach beer garden will be open 5-8pm on Friday, noon to 6 on Saturday and noon to 4 on Sunday. This year’s event will raise funds for PC Skatepark maintenance, the Maui Strong Fund and beloved surfer, John Baker.

Collect Pelican bottle caps until you have enough letters to spell out BORN AT THE BEACH
Using your talent and creativity, take a photo of the bottle caps in any environment you wish.
Post your photo to Instagram tagged #PelicanCaps
Make certain you Instagram account is set to "public" so we can find your post.

Prizes

All entries receive a 20% discount code for use at the Pelican online store
Three monthly winners (May, June, July) will each receive a $50 Pelican Brewing gift card.
Grand Prize winner wins an overnight stay at the Inn at Cape Kiwanda and a $100 Pelican Brewing gift card.

Rules

Photos will be collected each month and a monthly winner will be chosen by Pelican staff.
At the end of the contest, the three monthly winning photos will be voted on for the grand prize.
By entering you consent to Pelican reposting your photo in social media.
